Changes!


Growing up, I was always  bigger than all the other kids, i was always the chubby one amongst my peers and that made me somewhat insecure.Throughout my teenage years ,I tried to loose weight a million and one times: I tried crash diets, starved myself,took weight loss pills and even exercised! but none of that worked. I tried it all and I  lost weight but eventually,i gained it all back.
Funny enough, I have never had a sweet  tooth-i don't like ice creams,biscuits,toffees,i rarely drink soda but the weight keeps piling on. A year ago, i decided to start a weight loss journey. I ate right and exercised like crazy. Two months later, i managed to loose about 7kg. i was loving my new body and new found strength. I could run and not pant like i was about to die,i could do squats and not feel like my legs were giving up on me and best of all, i could fit into ll the clothes i bought in the hope that id loose weight to fit into them. After exercising diligently for about 3 months,i hit a weight loss plateau. Since then, my weight has been fluctuating. I currently alternate between a UK size 14 and 16.I have been blessed with curves in the right places but i need to loose a bit more weight to be healthy  because i realised that these days, i easily get tired and out of breath especially when i climb the stairs.

                   
This morning, i woke up and decided to make a change , no matter  how small it was.I decided to exercise starting with 'the 30 day abs challenge, the 30 day arm challenge and the 30 day thigh challenge'.It wasn't easy but i made it through day one and hopefully i will make it to the end. I have also decided to make changes in my diet and stick to healthy options. I am not loosing weight to look good or sexy for anyone but to be healthy. My goal is to drop one-two dress sizes and maintain it. Health is Wealth and even after i loose the weight,i intend to keep working out for my overall health.

  1. I also need to get serious with my weight loss plans. i actually started a blog about my weightloss to make me accountable but i could never stick to it. i definitely going to email u. more grease to ur elbow sweetie!
